This year, IBM has launched a Thinkpad laptop with a retractable keyboard. It was done to significantly reduce the size. Dubbed Thinkpad 701C, the keyboard was done in 3 separate pieces that would open up when the lid was opened. Also, Sun Microsystems launched Java 1.0 this year, and the biggest reveal, Microsoft unveiled its all-new Windows 95 in August 1995.
